Cho Dang hits the spot on a rainy day. Loved my experience!
Came here with a party of five and was sat instantly. Customer service was good - the servers were very kind and refilled our water several times.
The food took a little longer than usual to come out - but still not terribly long. The fish and banchan came out first and made excellent appetizers. The tofu soup itself came out next and was blazing hot, but still delicious. I got the ham and sausage tofu soup and it tasted great!
Would definitely come again. -

Pretty bad first impression. But that's what happens when there is only one person working the floor. I asked if I could sit in a place in the back corner because I was alone because I entered and the waitress just looked st me and continued to make a beeline to dish out food. I guess on Sunday's at 3pm there are guests of honor that get the seat I requested lol. It wouldn't have mattered if she said it was already reserved. It was how she said no-- like "absolutely not" because I was one person. When I looked up fifteen minutes later there was one person sitting there. I'll chalk it up to an off-putting misunderstanding. So ini
So on to ordering. They were quick to take my order and quick to have the food out. I ordered the budae jiggae (Army stew). It was very flavorful and delicious-- piping hot. The order cake with a variety of panchan (side dishes) including a fried whole mini-fish. That was tasty as well.
I would probably give them 4-5 stars if not for the initial encounter so just check them out and see what you think! -

Good service. Lunch hour wasn't busy at least when I went in. Decent enough parking. Big windows so the lighting is nice.
Food came out quick. Nice selection of banchan.
Ordered the hot stone bibimbap. Could use more meat and veggies but still filling enough to have leftovers to take home.
Other customers were vegetarian and server was very accommodating to their requests.
Would like to come back for the tofu options or bbq -

This is probably by third or fourth time here.
It's not my absolute favorite spot, but it's very good for soft tofu. I would say my top 3 in the Federal Way area.
I'm generally here when they open at 10:00 am. They do not have the fried fish ready at this time, would be around 11:00 am.
The staff is very friendly and sweet.
The mixed soft tofu is delicious.
The stone pot rice is my favorite kind.
The banchan is only OK. -

Was craving tofu soup and was recommended Cho Dang Tofu.
Had an order of the mixed tofu soup and their beef stoned rice pot. So good!! I had the cold and it cleared my sinuses.
Also loved how it comes with your traditional Korean appetizers (Kimchi, bean sprouts, pickles, fried fish, etc.) and of course a bowl of rice.
Loved the soup here and will definitely be coming back.
